Dog Play Partner Research

Looking for partnerships that would work well with my idea. I did some research into what other dog owners fed their dogs to see if there was any common dog food brands I could partner with.

The first article I found was talking about the high prices of dog food, especially for larger dogs and thats only for dry food, wet food is way more expensive. http://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/christchurch-life/eat-and-drink/girl-meets-food/11366376/Dog-food-doesn-t-come-cheap. The writer ended up buying food from the Arcana brand.

This article talks about the fact that supermarket brands, more expensive brands and even raw foods don't have much of an effect the health of a pet, how glossy their coat is or anything. So I have decided to stick with a lower cost brand of dog food, one that is known to most if not all dog owners and is recognisable.

My choices are between;

  • Purina - $39 for 20kgs - usually associated with having a range of products 
  • Pedigree - $80 for 20kgs - usually associated top quality and taking the best care
I have decided to go with Pedigree for my partnering company for my product.

https://www.oneworldeverybodyeats.org  OWEE would be a great organisation to partner with because my cafe model is a development and improvement on their model (as seen in the cafe research post). Cafe Model Research

I did some research on the community cafes and found  Denise  Cerrito created an organisation called  One World Everybody Eats (OWEE)  which was for the purpose of spreading her community cafe business model.  https://www.moneycrashers.com/community-cafes/  described her  community cafe model as; E verything is made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Touch Points; Only fresh, locally grown produce as well as freshly made bread and such Helping out poorer families and the homeless with easily worked for food All food scraps are donated to local pig farms The cafe is the centre pin of the community It houses a system which  people  can  donate  Pin Board which people can post about needing or offering services Final Production Idea; I want to create the trading board that will be in the cafe where people can come and trade services/products for other services/products in action. So the actual produce would be a gif/set of images of the board being used (time-lapse?).
